I'm traveling to Hawaii with my children who are minors. Can they enroll in CLEAR to use Health Pass?
Minors will not be able to use CLEAR for entry into Hawaii. If you are traveling with minors, they will have to bypass CLEAR and go directly through the Hawaii Safe Travels portal. This means they will either have to get a negative lab result from one of Hawaii’s Trusted Testing Partners or upload their CDC card (as well as bring it to the airport) showing proof of vaccination.For more information, please visit www.travel.hawaii.gov.
I'm having trouble linking CLEAR to my Hawaii Safe Travels portal. What should I do?
You can link CLEAR to your Hawaii Safe Travels portal within 30 days of your flight. If your trip is more than 30 days away and you've created a Health Pass, you will need to go through the Health Pass flow again once your current Health Pass expires. Once you create a green or gold Health Pass within 30 days of travel, you will be able to successfully link to your Hawaii Safe Travels portal.-
I linked my vaccination information to CLEAR but received the message: "CLEAR could not find matching Health Pass for this traveler or trip" when I go to my Hawaii Safe Travels portal.
Once you've successfully linked your vaccine information and created a digital vaccine card, you must go through the Health Pass tile in the CLEAR app to create your Health Pass for Hawaii. Please follow the steps below to create a Health Pass:1. Select the white Health Pass tile in the CLEAR app.2. On the next page, select 'Passengers - Flights to Hawaii'.3. Choose the airline you will be traveling on to Hawaii.4. Select 'Vaccination' as your screening option to link to your vaccination for Hawaii. Since you already created a digital vaccine card, our system should recognize this and pull this information to then create your Health Pass.5. You will have to verify your identity and complete all of the State of Hawaii entry requirements to create a green Health Pass.
Do I have to use Health Pass if I’m traveling to Hawaii?
CLEAR is one option. Passengers who do not want to use CLEAR, did not get tested at an accepted CLEAR lab provider, or are not eligible to link to AHS, HAPI, or SMART Health Cards, or who are under the age of 18, must upload a negative test to their Safe Travels portal from one of Hawaii's Trusted Testing Partners or add their CDC card to their Safe Travels portal. All steps must be completed prior to departure.
