When do I need to take my COVID-19 test?
You must provide negative COVID-19 test results from a test taken within a maximum of 72 hours of the departure time of your final flight leg to Hawaii. Be sure to check with the lab/health system you've selected to ensure the required deadline can be met.
CLEAR cannot guarantee that all labs will accommodate 72-hour turnaround time.
Why use CLEAR?
CLEAR is an easy and secure way to link the necessary COVID-19 information to your Hawaii Safe Travels account. CLEAR links your vaccine records or negative COVID-19 test with the State of Hawaii to help speed your clearance process by avoiding visual inspection of your vaccine record at the airport. In addition, while the Hawaii Safe Travels portal accepts specific labs, CLEAR allows you to choose from many more when using testing as a means for quarantine exemption.
What is the benefit to using CLEAR Health Pass over Hawaii trusted travel partners?
Quicker access and more lab choices. With CLEAR you can link your digitally verified test results or proof of vaccination directly into the Hawaii Safe Travels portal to satisfy the quarantine exemption requirements. Most airlines will verify your status by scanning the QR-Code provided by Hawaii and provide you with a wristband that allows you to skip the verification line upon arrival in Hawaii.
